Taken from the direction of the Essex Country Courthouse, the streets are still cobblestoned to accommodate horses and wagons. The Trolleys are heading to South Orange, a delivery horse wagon on the right.
U.S Post Office on Broad Street
The old US post office was on Broad Street at the Morris Canal, it featured a tall tower with a clock. The canal went under Broad Street at this site.The Canal ceased operations in 1924, and it became Raymond Boulevard in 1932.
