An early, hand-drawn map of Newark from 1777, inscribed as being "copied by William West." "New Barbadoes Neck" is written in the top right corner of the map. Market Street, East Back Street (inscribed in pencil as Mulberry St.) and West Back Street (inscribed in pencil as Washington St.) are depicted, as well as the Passaic River.
