The Detroit Cadillac Motor Car Company building served as an auto showroom where the the sales and servicing of cars took place. The building had three stories. Its facade has a tripartite scheme with a narrow bay in the middle flanked by two large ones. Its style is neoclassical.

Condition History
Originally, the Detroit Cadillac Motor Car Company was located in 291-293 Halsey St., Newark, NJ. Later, in 1907, the company moved to the present building located at 536 Broad Street in Newark. Presently, the building is owned by Berkeley College. A fourth floor capped by a pediment has been added.
