Description
Babies' Hospital was founded in 1896 by Dr. Henry Leber Colt to serve sick children under the age of 5. The hospital began at 2 adjoining buildings on High St. and Bank St. A new building at 15 Roseville Ave. opened in January, 1930. This new hospital was named Babies' Hospital-Colt Memorial.
